The CD/SACD disc is not recognized by my player :

Different symptoms may occur: the player might say "No Disc" or "No Tracks", or the CD/SACD might be ejected automatically by the player on insertion.

  1. Check that the player is not damaged:

Try other discs of the same format in your player to ensure that it is not the player itself that is not working. If these other discs are not recognized either, you might have to contact your reseller to check and eventually repair your CD/SACD player.

  2. Check the state of the CD/SACD disc itself:

Try the disc in another player to check that it is not damaged. If the disc does not work in the other player either, check that the surface of the disc is not scratched. If it is new and doesn't seem damaged, pass to the next stage.

  3. If the problem occurs on a computer, update your operating system :

  4. The problem persists or occurs on a Hi-Fi, or other home CD-player:

Check with the manufacturer or with your reseller's after-sales service department, that the CD/SACD player supports the following standards: Phillips / Sony "Enhanced Music CD specification" (Blue Book) or "Enhanced Music SACD Hybrid"

If the player does not the support the disc's format, there will either exist a firmware update or the possibility of returning the product to the factory to implement a correction.

Contact your reseller's after-sales service department or the manufacturer's customer service department.
