Accepting cookies :

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the computer of a visitor to a web site. It may contain information such as the date of your last visit, the browser used, etc...

Opendisc® only uses session cookies, which are only kept temporarily in your computer's RAM and not saved on your hard drive. The cookies used by Opendisc® are therefore erased at the end of your visit and will not identify you in any way the next time you visit.


To visit artist's private sites, you must enable cookies.

Internet Explorer 4.x for Windows

    1. In the main menu, select "View" > "Internet Options";

    2. Click on the "Advanced" tab;

    3. Look for the "Security" section and then the "Cookies" heading;

    4. To enable cookies: select "Always accept cookies";

    5. To receive a warning, select "Ask for confirmation before accepting cookies";

    6. Click on "OK"

    7. Restart Internet Explorer.


Internet Explorer 5.x fo Windows

    1. From the main menu, select "Tools", then "Internet Options";

    2. Select the "Security" tab;

    3. Select "Custom Level";

    4. Scroll down the list until you reach the "Cookies" section;

    5. To enable cookies, click on "Enable" in the following subsections :

      - "Allow cookies to be saved on your computer;"
      - "Allow session cookies (not saved)";

    6. To receive a warning, click on "Ask" in the following subsections :

      - "Allow cookies to be saved on your computer";
      - "Allow session cookies (not saved)";

    7. Click on "OK";

    8. Click on the "Apply" button for modifications to take effect.


Internet Explorer 5.x for Macintosh

    1. From the "Edit" menu, select "Preferences";

    2. Select Cookies under the heading "Receiving Files" on the left side;

    3. In the drop-down list for "Receving cookies", select one of these three options:

      - Never ask;
      - Ask for each site;
      - Ask for each cookie;

    4. Click on "OK".


Netscape Navigator 4.x for Windows

    1. In the main menu, select "View", then "Internet Options";

    2. Click on the "Advanced" tab;

    3. Look for the "Security" section, and then the "Cookies" heading;

    4. To activate: select "Always accept cookies";

    5. To receive a warning, click on "Ask for confirmation before accepting cookies":

    6. Click on "OK";

    7. Restart Netscape Navigator


Netscape Navigator 4.x for Macintosh

    1. From the main menu, select "Edit", then "Preferences";

    2. Select the "Advanced" tab;

    3. To activate, select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that are returned to the original server";

    4. To receive a warning: select "Warn me before accepting cookies";

    5. Click on "OK".
